Something wicked this way comes

Something wicked this way comes

You know, I’ll be honest with you, I’m not a big fan of prophecy.

It is too difficult.

Unless you adopt a pre-modern view of creation, where we see creation as one giant clock mechanism, or as controlled by one bad-ass father dude (in which case you’re mostly guessing), there are too many variables. The most I think you can do is chart direction and endpoints. You look at the general direction in which the ship is going, consider the destination, look for obstacles and interferences, and then make a general statement about what you think is going to happen.

That’s really all that’s possible and therefore it’s a risky game at the best of times. Still, it is a game worth engaging in. I mean, only a fool turns their back on the wheel room and let’s the ship sail itself. You may not be able to control and manage all the possible variables that can set you off course, damage the ship, or even sink it, but you definitely want to be attentive to what’s happening. The more you pay attention, the more you know about what is happening around you, the more experience you develop steering the ship, the more likely it will be that you will be able to navigate on course and to your final destination.

So, looking at the ship and the world we are in, what’s there to see right now about direction and course?

Well to be honest, I’m not having a good feeling about the way things are going. In fact, I’ve kinda got a sinking feeling about the whole thing. If you want to know, there are a number of reasons for this not the least of which is Fred’s (you meet Fred in this book) callous refusal to do anything more than line the pockets of his buddies! And this despite the fact that the globe is teetering on the brink of economic depression (and no, Obama will not be any different I predict). But that’s not the primary thing that has me worried. At this point I’m mostly concerned about new age Internet chatter. If you listen to the “channeled message of the day” coming from “Lord Michakel” of the Intergalactic White Brother Hood High Council of Cosmically bearded elders, or his Lord High Commander Ra-Se-Ta-Ta-Ta, you’ll find that they are all saying pretty much the same thing at this point. If you believe the “ground crew,” we are on the brink of the total collapse of the “dark powers” and the subsequent emergence of heaven on earth.

Nesera revealed!

Shambhala once again.

It’s true!

Go out into the “astral realms,” we are told, and you’ll see that all the “darkness is gone” and now all we have to do is wait for the final round up of the “dark cabal” and then everything is going to be perfectly peachy keen once again.

Oh, I wish it were true, I really do, but I’m very skeptical, and for two reasons. One is an empirical reason (i.e., it has to do with, ahem, reality) and the other is based on my own experience. Let’s look at the empirical reason first.

Now, the empirical reason for why I’m a little skeptical (and worried) is simple.

Take a look at the world.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see that “the darkness” is nowhere near ready to hand over the keys. Another round of bank bailouts (even under Obama), another few billion dollars for major corporations, destabilization of the middle east, accelerating job loss, the expansion of surveillance and security, the generalization and expansion of rendition (even under Obama, I’m afraid) and you just can’t help but ask “what is Commandeer Ra-Se-Ta-Ta-Ta thinking,” and “what kind of drugs is the channeller on?” I mean come on! It’s obvious that the “dark forces” are still in total control of this planet. Ya, I believe their time is coming to an end on this earth, but not for a few years yet. If you take a look at reality, you’ll see, they still have all the cards (and all the money for that matter). So if you are holding your breath and looking towards 2012 for a global miracle (or the descent of some lightships, or the rapture of the chosen, or whatever you think is going to save your sorry ass from the inevitable manifestation of one ugly new world order), stop.

Now the second reason I’m a little sceptical is based on my own experience. I’ve been watching the “internet chatter” on the new age unfolding, and putting up with all the newbie channellers spreading the “gospel truth” every since I went through my own awakening eight years or so ago. It’s interesting, you know. The last time the internet chatter started to focus on the immediate announcement of prosperity, the emergence of shambhala, and the end of the dark forces, President Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction and subsequently declared war on a defenseless people.

It is an interesting juxtaposition is it not?

Extremely hopeful chatter about the imminent emergence of Shambhala followed by a devastating knock-out blow to the collective Lightworker psyche. And it really was a blow. Imagine how that would make you feel. You just got the itch to awaken, you are just fishing around on the internet looking for something to latch on to, you come across some stuff about Nesera and ground crews and lighships and an impending transformation, and you totally buy into it and believe it with hopeful heart only to have your whole hopeful new world view come crashing into catastrophe against the hard rock café of black psychological operations. It really is a deeply ugly thing to do to people, but they do it again and again and again.

And they keep getting away with it.

Why?

Well to be honest, it is easy to fool the blindfolded folk of this world. You may not like hearing it, especially if you get that ugly little feeling in the pit of your stomach that tells you your one of the ones with a blindfold on, but it’s true. And if it is true, face it ’cause the only way to stop it from happening again and again and again is to realize you have got a blindfold on, and then get some help taking it off.

That’s the only way.

Of course, I could be wrong. What your reading now could be just the random meanderings of a fella with too much time on his hands. I sure hope so. Honestly, I really do not want to see any more bad things happen in this world because too many bad things happen as it is. Still, I think it is important to pay attention and consider the possibilities. If I’m wrong, then hallelujah and praise the Lord ,I will rejoice with everyone else. But if I am right and the positive internet chatter is a precursor to some dastardly black psychological operation designed to hurt as many people as possible and destroy the hope and motivation of all newbie spiritual awakeners, then maybe it’s time you started being a little more discerning, selective, and motivated in your quest for authentic spirituality and enlightenment.

Or not.

After all, it’s your choice.
