I AM/WE ARE

Published by ms

I AM/WE ARE your higher self,
And you welcome me this day,
How you missed me, did you pray,
While you battled night and day,
And you claimed a sacred night
Would keep all of you in plight,
Never recognize I AM
And that WE ARE hand in hand

So I watched sadly as you flailed,
In your fear and bondage pail,
And the ice around you failed,
Breath away from you did sail.

BUT I WHISPERED IN YOUR DARK
YOU ARE A SHADOW of my heart.
Don’t you see that we are one,
Foolish child we are not done.

And with my gentle touch caress,
You follow home ever steadfast.
And I watch and dream and say,
Surely soon will come a day.

When both you and I shall shout
I AM/WE WE ARE no other part.
AND our time has just begun,
Let us prance across the sun,

And like a flash from Thunder’s hand,
The day has come, the time at hand.
When both you and I do say,
Now’s the time, here is the day.

And The Veil before my eyes,
Doth no longer hide our sighs.
And our smile does grandly say,
I AM/WE ARE E’MORE THIS DAY.

And as all of you awake,
Those before you stand and wait,
And with a sweetness that is true,
Say Welcome Home, this birth is you

And as gasp leaps from your lips,
And your heart doth do a flip,
We smile and share this cosmic lark,

I AM/WE ARE, dispells the dark.

Starting out

Published by ms

Sword of the ArchangelOk, so you want to return home.

Excellent!

Good choice!

So where do you start?

Lightning Path Core

Well, you start by reading the Lightning Path Core books. These six interconnected books provide you with the technical, philosophical, and archetypal foundation for spiritual awakening. The core includes basic technique, activation visualizations, new philosophical and cosmological foundations, assistance with difficulties, the world’s best crown and third eye opener (i.e., the Halo/Sharp tarot deck), and even a brand new story of creation to sink your teeth into.

Six books, six pieces of the puzzle.

  • The Great Awakening - Basic spiritual technique. Breathing, trust, right thinking, conceptual foundations.
  • The Book of Light Volume One - Cosmological foundations, the nature of God, your relation to God, the nature of creation, purpose, etc.
  • The Book of Life - All about the end-times and ascension.
  • The Song of Creation - Canonical story of genesis. Creation in three acts.
  • Dossier of the Ascension - A chakra activation guide.
  • The Book of the Triumph of Spirit - Archetypal revision and beginners connection to The Fabric. A revolutionary new tarot system. See http://tarot.michaelsharp.org for details

You can find out more about the LP Core, including a more detailed conceptual map of the concepts and how they fit together, by visiting the Lightning Path Core page.

Lightning Path Intermediate (in progress)

The basic goal of the Lightning Path Core is to get you started on the path of awakening and activation. It doesn’t make you a master, unless you can remember you already are one (and saying it doesn’t make it so), but it does put you on the right track. It helps you get your thinking on straight, it helps you heal your body and mind, and it helps you begin the process of returning home (i.e., the paths of awakening and activation). But it’s only the start. The LP Intermediate takes you beyond the LP core and begins to put you in touch with the Divinity in you. The LP intermediate includes guidance on advanced crown chakra activation and control, an advanced cosmological look at creation “post watershed,” a look at how spirit manages creation, and a expose of The System, what’s it about, why it is what it is, and what we can do about it. Currently the LP Intermediate level is “in progress.” Drafts of Intermediate level materials are currently available to site subscribers only.

  • The Book of Magic Volume One - An advanced guide to crown chakra opening.
  • The Book of Light Volume Two: The Emerald Tablet. The LP “rosetta” stone.
  • The Book of Circles - Creation at the highest levels.
  • The Black Book - A revealing look at The System, how it came to be, and what we can do about it. A spiritual line drawn in the sand.

Lightning Path Advanced

The LP advanced has a primarily sociological/psychological focus. At this level we look the physical unit, the nature of consciousness in body, proper psychological and sociological development of the physical unit, and so on. Some of the materials in the LP Advanced are available in the SpiritWiki in “concentrated form.”

The LP Advanced is of primary interest to professionals interested in applying advanced spiritual concepts in their own disciplines, and to interested lay people seeking a complete understanding of physical creation as a precursor to professional study, or for interest sake only. The LPA is nascent but materials should start to become available towards the middle of 2009.

I’ve had dreams of things involving some sort of culling on the planet. I don’t know what is being removed, whether it be human existence all together or human attachments. I’ve never been much of a believer before, as i didn’t understand why science was kept out of the loop. But this event that approaches in 2012 is undeniably a combination of science and spirituality. I’m looking for answers that satisfy both levels, rather than talking to professors or priests.

I don’t believe there is an “event” approaching in 2012. not the way most people think of it anyway. I think we are in for many changes, but these changes will not be confined to a single dramatic event.

Still, I wouldn’t recommend you just sit there on your royal tush and wait to see what happens. Start by reading my book The Great Awakening. It’s a free download under the menu item “Free eBooks.”

    Hi,
My Brother was very spiritual and so was I for a long time, but over the past few years my intuition has wained whereas my brother advanced himself greatly. However just a few weeks ago he passed away before being able to help me get back to where I need to be. He strongly believed in an spiritual event on Dec 20 2012 and so I wish to follow on from where he left off. Please guide me as to what I should be undertaking to be ready.
    Thanks,
    Paul

In this week’s reading we take a quick tour of the various sociological research methods (i.e., systems, tools, and techniques) that we sociologists use to assess empirical realities and theories about social institutions and structure.

Of course, if you’re like me when I was a student, your eyes will have already glazed over and you’ll be rapidly switching into “robot mode” as you anticipate the boredom brought about by the heady stuff of sociological methodology, but try not to do that. This is an important chapter. It sets what we might like to call the empirical stage (as in the type of stage that actors use) for the study of sociology.

And just what is an “empirical stage?” you ask. Well basically this is just the idea that sociologist use empirical data, i.e. evidence (just the “facts” Mr.) to assess and understand the social world. Sociology is a science, after all, and to all sciences and scientists, evidence is importance. Although under challenge in recent years,[1] science and it’s methods are all about how to accurately measure the “realities” or “facts” of the world around us. Physicists measure quantum states and electrical spins (physical facts), chemists measure moles and volumes (chemical facts), engineers measure tensile strengths and breaking points, and sociologists measure, well, social facts. This sort of empirically based inquiry is a central and important feature of all academic sciences. Perhaps doubly so for sociology.

Why?

Well primarily because of the subject matter of sociology. As we saw in the last chapter, sociology deals with the world that you created. Sociology deals with institutions like your school, your family, the media, and politics. Sociology takes as its subject matter areas like gender, sexuality, and the economy. In short, sociology deals with everything that is important to you and because of that, you probably have an opinion about much of what sociology studies. This is a democratic society after all and in a democracy, we are all entitled to opinions about the issues that affect us. Even a teenager graduating high school knows something about the topic matter of sociology.

Now as you might guess, this puts sociologists in a peculiar position of doing a discipline that everybody knows something about. At times this can be difficult because many people find it easy to dismiss what sociologists say as “merely” common sense, if you agree with what sociologists say, or mere “opinion” if you don’t. And what’s worse for us sociologists, it is much easier to do this in Sociology than it is to do in any other discipline, even psychology. You wouldn’t go up to a graduate engineer, for example, and presume to tell them how to construct a big fancy bridge or building. Engineers have years of training and evaluation, practice and empirical study, behind them before they are allowed to go about constructing bridges that others will have to drive on. Sociologists too have years of training, evaluation, practice, and empirical study. Yet despite this fact, people have no difficulty dismissing the often critical conclusions of sociology.

You have to realize though, whether you’re entering sociology, or just viewing from the outside, that Sociology is a science. It has all the features of traditional science (i.e., empirical study, peer reviewed journal, constant and ongoing empirical assessment and criticism of it’s finding) and therefore is a science. Because of that, the evidence that Sociology gathers, however that is gathered, allows Sociologists like me know things about the world with more or less certainty. Just like engineers know things and chemists know things, so to do Sociologists know things and if you are watching from the outside, you cannot dismiss these things as mere opinion. More important, if you are going to become a sociologist, you cannot fall prey to the external perspectives often foisted on us by those who don’t agree with our conclusions. You’ll often hear people try and tell you that sociology is not a science, or not a “hard” or science, or that it’s just common sense and opinion, but don’t buy into that.

It’s not true.

Sociologists do know things, with more or less certainty, and we should feel, more or less, confident in the things we know. And just what do we know? Well, you will see what we know (more or less) as you we go through the chapters of your sociology text and so there’s not point in going over that here. The more important question for us now is, how do we know what we know, and that’s what this chapter on research methods is for. In this section you’ll find out about some of methods that Sociologists use to “know” things about the world. Resist the urge to nod of while reading this chapter and pay attention.

As you will see as you peruse the chapter, sociologist use a fairly wide range of methods to determine the Truth (capital “T” or otherwise) about the world around them. Broadly speaking, I can say that Sociologists use two general types of empirical methods. We qualitative methodologies like participant observation and ethnographies, discourse analysis and so on, and we use quantitative methodologies where we find quantifiable variables that can be operationalized and measured.

Now, those of with training in the so-called “hard sciences” may get a chuckle with some of the methods used by sociologists. You may base your amusement on the evaluated difference between the “hard sciences” like physics and chemistry, which presumably use ridged and unambiguous measures of reality, and the so called “soft sciences” which use measures that are more ambiguous and less precise. If I were you though, I wouldn’t chuckle. On the one hand the entire distinction between “hard” sciences and “soft” sciences is ridiculously male based and absurd. It makes me think of the difference between the flaccid penis of social scientists and the rigid phallus of the physicist—a visual metaphor useful to prop up “male esteem” but not so useful as a metaphoric representation of the difference between branches of science. It’s also totally unfair because of all the sciences, sociology deals with the most complex and difficult subject matter of all and despite this difficulty still manages to apply empirical methods in order to know things. I mean, we don’t look at the relatively simple and easily quantifiable world of chemistry, or the ridged and inflexible science of engineering. We look at the most complicated of all scientific subjects, humans, and the social, political, economic, and spiritual world that we create and live. And that is is a challenge (and that was an understatement). The point here is, if you’re going to be a sociologist, you cannot accept the absurd and patriarchal evaluative assessment foisted on us by the natural scientist who think what they are doing is more scientific, you must stand for the empirical integrity of the discipline, starting now.

And besides, what do the natural sciences really have to be superior over? Sure they’ve created a lot of technical advances, which have improved the life of mostly those in the developed nations, but on balance, they’ve arguably created the potential for incredible suffering and violence. In fact, the “hard Sciences” seem to have lost total control of things in recent years. More and better technology has made it easier to deforest, easier to modify the climactic systems of this planet, easier to pillage, and easier to engage in brutal and violent wars. Arguably, natural sciences have brought us to the brink of planetary disaster. Compared to the horrors that social scientists have unleashed upon the world, there seems to be no comparison.

Now I don’t want to criticise the so-called hard sciences here. Like I said, they have done many great things. But you have to weigh the great things in relation to the not so great things on any scientific balance sheet, and anybody can see that in terms of social, environmental, even human dimensions, the natural sciences are not an unequivocal boon. Not that the “softer” sciences get off the hook here. The point here is simply that we cannot evaluate our disciplines based on one-dimensional, over sexualised metaphors. And anyway, what defines science is it’s attention to empirical detail and sociology, as best it can given the extreme complexity of its subject matter, pays attention to empirical detail. But it is difficult because with sociology we are not dealing with simple physical characteristics like weight and density or charge. The realities that we deal with are far more complex than the tensile strength of metal, and far more indeterminate. Do a thought experiment with me. Visualize a block of metal sitting in a chair. If you are a physical scientist, it is very easy to quantify that block of metal. There are a handful of variables, and measurement technologies are precise. Now, replace that lump of metal with an image of a real person sitting in the chair. Visualize a typical teenager, with pink hair, tattered cloths, piercings, and a tattoo. As you can easily imagine, the ease of measurement, quantification, and assessment has evaporated in a sea of variables and variability. Instead of dealing with a handful of easily quantifiable parameters, we are now dealing with thousands of variables from the variables of genetics to the variables of socialization to the varying institutional and social contexts that this pink haired “person” floats in. Even the color, shape, and size of room and chair may be important. And this person in the chair is only a single example in a single physical and temporal location. Try and understand this person in multiple settings, during multiple periods of life, and the difficulty expands exponentially. Move into the collectively and look at this person in the context of human society, and the task becomes staggering. But even though the empirical task is staggering, sociologist do try. We do set an empirical stage for our discipline and, given the complexity of what we have to work with, we do a pretty good job. And this bring me back to the topic of this week of readings which is research methodology.

Now, as you read through the methods in this chapter, keep in mind the discussion in this overview. The methods that sociologists use are methods that we have found useful in dealing with the awesome beauty and complexity of our human, social world. As I have tried to convey in this brief overview, this is nothing to embarrassed or apologetic about. In fact, speaking as a sociologist, it is something to honoured. As you will see in the rest of the book, for all the difficulties and complexities that go into understanding the human situation, sociologists still, like natural scientists, have come to know, with more or less certainty, things about the human and it’s social world. There will be always be some ambiguity but that, as they say, is the nature of the beast. I wouldn’t trade the complexity of sociology for the boring determinacy of the natural sciences for anything.

Mental Control

Published by ms

Alright, before getting into the technique and visualizations that you can use to expand your body’s connection to the Fabric of Consciousness, I would like to spend a few moments talking about mental control. Now my basic advice here is quite simple. Before you start opening up your “channel,” before you start expanding your connection and drawing consciousness more fully into your body, you need to practice mental control.

It’s really very important.

If you don’t practice it, if you don’t achieve a degree of control over the way your brain throws up thoughts into your consciousness, you can get yourself into a lot of psychological trouble.

Why?

Well, it has to do with the nature of the limited consciousness of your physical unit and its relationship to the unlimited consciousness of Spirit (a.k.a. the Fabric of Consciousness). The thing is, expanding the connection between your physical unit and the higher consciousness that animates your body is a lot like taking a lit candle and exposing the little flame of that candle to a room full of pure oxygen. If you do that you can experience a kind of mental explosion that can knock you off your feet, or worse. Truth is, when combined with the damage personality structures of an abusive or pathological upbringing, opening up to the oxygen (O2) of higher can even plunge you into a psychopathology from which you (and by you I mean your physical unit) may have a difficult time getting out of.

And I’m not exaggerating.

So it’s advisable to prepare.

The actual practice of mental control is not rocket science. To accomplish successful mental control, all you basically need is proper conceptual/intellectual foundation and solid practical technique. From a conceptual level, you want to be sure you fully understand what’s going on when you “open a connection” and that’s not hard. All you have to do, really, is understand a few basic concepts. Understand what I mean when I say “Fabric of Consciousness:”[1] Understand the interconnected nature of monadic consciousness in The Fabric: Understand the relationship of your bodily consciousness to monadic consciousness: Understand something of the power of The Fabric.[2] It’s not hard. The concepts themselves are relatively straight forward and understanding them is not that difficult. However, understanding them is a prerequisite to more open communication with The Fabric. A proper understanding (i.e., right thinking about consciousness) can go a long way towards helping you stay grounded and in control when you start to “open the doors” to the oxygen of higher consciousness.

So when you fully understand the basic concepts of consciousness, then the next step forward in your conceptual understanding is to understand this. Just because you are connecting to the Fabric of Consciousness in a more direct and full time way, just because ideas begin to flow into you from “inside,” just because you are rockin and rolling with an expanding connection to glorious consciousness, does not mean you are automatically and all of a sudden some kind of universal conduit for truth.

That is, you have to understand, just because an idea comes to you from the “inside” does not make that idea true.

You got that?

If not, make sure you do.

Repeat after me.

“Just because an idea comes to me from the ‘inside’ does not make that idea true.”

“Just because an idea comes to me from the ‘inside’ does not make that idea true.”

Now I know this might seem a little dumb to you right now, especially if you come from a scientifically grounded epistemology that eschews interior wisdom, but it’s not. The advice I’m giving you here really is important. One of the easiest and most common spiritual blunders you can make (and even die hard, Harvard paid scientific gurus have made this blunder) is to assume that every internally generated idea is correct. Bottom line, you have to discern… and although you might be sitting there thinking “well of course I’m going to discern,” the truth is, when you make that first authentic connection to your higher consciousness, all your critical sensibilities might just go flying out the proverbial window.

And don’t sit there shaking your head saying “not me” cause I’m too smart or irrational or grounded or whatever cause the truth is, you just don’t know what it is going to feel like , and nobody ever warned you (except maybe me), and so when you connect with “the power,” all your “normal” defense mechanisms may just vanish in a puff of frying neurons. I mean, when you make the first full bright connection to higher consciousness, the ideas that come to you are going to seem remarkably brilliant no matter how full of shit they might really be. The ideas will come and you’ll be like “wow,” and you’re going to go “cool,” and you’re going to think like “right on.” In the worst cases, you may even tempted to abandon your identity and start believing you are Jesus or some other dead prophet!? But if you want my advice, don’t do that. Take my advice. Take a deep breath. Ground. Remember who you are and consider. The information you are getting might be true, but then it again it might be a pile of steaming horse shit soooo….

….use your discernment.

And if you’re scientifically trained, don’t think you’re immune. If you want my opinion, those of us who are scientifically trained are even more susceptible to what we might want to call “spiritual psychosis” because we’ve got the intellectual training and egos to provide conceptual and ideological buttresses for whatever holonic moronic garbage we choose to put through. Heck, a well trained, left brain dominant intellectual can make slime seem appetizing.[3] Unfortunately, having a well trained left brain doesn’t make you immune to stupidity. If you ask me, it makes you more susceptible and, what’s worse, makes it harder for “you” to break through if you get trapped.

You want to be careful.

No matter how bright the ideas might seem, don’t just assume that what you are getting is correct.

Now if you are curious as to why you can’t just automatically trust and idea from inside, there are two very good reasons. Reason one is simply this. The first few times you make a wider connection with the Fabric of Consciousness, the first few times you flash your little candle light with the oxygen of your higher self, you may be exposing your conceptual apparatus NOT to the higher light and wisdom of your higher self but to the unconscious and dogmatic programming that you were exposed to as a child.

“How’s that?” you say.

Well, in order to explain this, let’s go back to our oxygen metaphor. As I’ve already said, think of your bodily consciousness, the consciousness that emerges out of the quantum operations of your physical unit, as a little candle flame. Now think of the opening of a connection to The Fabric of Consciousness (i.e. crown chakra activation) like opening an oxygen pipe as big around as your head. Imagine what happens to the little candle flame when you do that. The oxygen feeds the flame so when oxygen hits the candle flame, it’s going to cause it to flare up. And that’s pretty much how it is. The first time you make a wider connection to the Fabric of Consciousness, you are going to “flash your brain” with the oxygen of higher consciousness and when you do that your bodily consciousness is going to light up like a roman candle. As that happens your brain and all it contains is going to come front and center first. That is, before you make any connection to the Fabric of Consciousness, before you start to bring any amount of “higher wisdom,” you’re going to have to confront what’s in your head first.

Now, if you’re not sitting on a lot of fears, repressions, and issues, and if you recognize that it is your body’s consciousness that is “coming forward” first and not some kind of higher and wiser spiritual entity, then confronting what is in your head can be a cool experience. But if you make the common blunder and just gaze wide eyed and bushy tailed at the “new consciousness,” you can into trouble. I mean, think of all the nonsense that gets piled into your consciousness. From day one you’re bodily consciousness is filled with so much excrement that I can’t even say. Not surprisingly, when you open the crown chakra and light up the candle, all the dogmatic and abusive crap that “they” filled you up with will come out first and it might not be pretty, which is OK as long as you don’t blunder into the belief that all that stuff is divine revelation.

Don’t scoff.

It’s terribly easy to do.

No matter brown and smelly the ideas might be, in the light of your turbocharged little candle flame, they seem so bright and glorious that you just can’t believe they are anything other than divine revelation.[4]

It’s true.

I’ve seen it happen many times.

So be careful.

Discern.

Space Time TubeNow the second reason you can’t just assume that all ideas that come to you from the inside are true arises out of nature of the Fabric of Consciousness and you’re connection to all that is in it. Remember what I said in the Book of Light. Consciousness is an interconnected fabric of monadic intensifications. What that rocket science really means is that we are all part of this grand and glorious Fabric of Consciousness, and we are all connected to it, and because of that we (and by we I mean “you”) are potentially connected to all times and all places in this physical universe.

The Fabric of Consciousness embraces all time and all space and even though you exist “here and now,” you can still connect with all parts of creation with minimal effort.

It’s an important point because, when you do finally get past your bodily consciousness, when you do successfully put aside the dogma and programming of your physical unit to the point where you can actually get an authentic connection to higher consciousness, then you gotta remember you can connect to any point. There is really no restriction and given this fact, you have to ask yourself, who are you going to connect to.

An archangel?

Maybe.

God?

Possibility.

Ancient Annunaki colonizer?

If you ask the right questions.

Fundamentalist preacher down the road.

Well, if that’s what you are used it, yes. It just all depends, so you have to be careful otherwise you risk, at best, becoming just another unglued mystic puking out uncritical insights or, at worse, ending up a psychological and psychopathic mess like Crowley or Hitler.

SO STOP AND CONSIDER.

Are you sure you know who you are really talking to?

Are you sure the knowledge you are getting is true?

If not, think about it.

Be cautious.

Go slow.

Until you get grounded, until you develop a strong critical sensibility, until you’ve released any pathological ego controls, until you’ve got a good sense of what the highest spiritual truths look like, be careful cause when you’re staring out, you just never know.

And now this brings us, finally, to the practical side of mental control. Once you get the idea into your head that conversation with The Fabric is just like any other conversation (i.e., you don’t believe everything you hear), then the next step is to practice the actual art of mental control. And thankfully, that’s not rocket science. It’s also not transcendental, by a long shot. It doesn’t require you to meditate for long periods in uncomfortable positions (and who has time for that anyway?). It doesn’t require you to “still your thoughts” and become “empty.”[5] It also doesn’t require above average smarts or long periods of training. In fact, it’s actually quite simple. If an idea pops into your head and you decide you don’t like it, kick it out of your consciousness.

That’s mental control.

If you don’t like an idea, don’t think it.

Just get rid of it.

And if it comes back, push it away again.

Find something to do that takes your mind off it. You have a right not to think thoughts that you don’t want to think so if you don’t want to think a certain thought, don’t think it. J

And if you do have problem, if you find yourself obsessing about certain ideas, maybe you need to talk to somebody with more experience because no matter how you slice it, obsessing ideas is not good. As I like to say, as above in consciousness, so below in matter. If you are obsessing, if you can’t control what you think, you are in jeopardy of manifesting unpleasantness. So if you need help with that, get it. Use whatever assistance and props you need. And over and above whatever assistance you get, trust your ability to learn. You do have it in you, I guarantee it. Eventually you’ll get better at it and the ability to control your thoughts will become easier.

Now most of us shouldn’t have too much problem getting rid of bad ideas. The mental facility to do it is easy to develop. What’s not so easy is identifying which ideas are bad ideas. When you are starting out, how do you know? Well, I can give you a few simple rules about that. Kick out all ideas that smack of hierarchy, exclusion, judgment, and punishment, but that’s easier to say than to do. The problem is that on this earth, bad ideas are intentionally wrapped up like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Ideas that come to you can seem good, but when you examine them more deeply, or when you follow them to their logical end point, they can lead you down a very dark and sometimes violent tunnel of misconception. The christian idea of rapture is a good example here. On the surface it looks like a good idea, but when you follow it to its logical conclusion, it means an incredible amount of unnecessary suffering caused by hierarchy, exclusion, judgment, and punishment. I mean, really. The idea that everybody “left behind,” from little baby to aged grandmother, would be left to fend for themselves is positively satanic and when you think about it, the idea begins to lose its sheep’s cloaking and is revealed for the horrid and violent idea that it is. Of course, if you’ve followed that idea because you thought your connection to the fundamentalist preacher down the road was a connection to God himself,[6] by the time you realize how negative and hateful the ideas really are, it may be too late to easily extricate yourself from the powerful, but nasty, ideas.

And that’s about all I care to write at this time on this topic. Now, I will talk more about the importance of ideas, and what to do about the ideas that come into your head as a result of an opening (or open) crown chakra, later. Before closing though, allow me to say a couple more things. Thing one is a “practice tip” that you can use in relation to the technique of mental control. The tip is simple. PAY ATTENTION to what you are thinking. If you haven’t done it before, start now. And I don’t mean in the 10 minute way you do in meditation, I mean throughout the day. You need to always be aware of the types of thoughts that are popping into the physical unit of yours, and when I say always I mean always. Don’t let a minute go by where you are not paying attention to what is happening in the conscious part of bodily consciousness. It’s obvious advice really. If you are going to practice mental control, if you are going to make a decision about what ideas you are going to let into that noodle of yours, then of course you have to be aware of what’s in there.

So practice.

Now as I said, there are two things I want to mention before closing. Thing one is the need to be aware of your thoughts. Thing two is a confidence thing. If you are going to practice mental control, you are going to have to be confident in your ability to discern. What’s more, you are going to have to feel worthy enough to eject the ideas that you decide don’t belong and this might hard, especially at first and especially if you confront ideas that are all “lit up” by oxygen from the crown chakra. It’s a big problem, unfortunately and while I don’t want to get into the details of why we lack confidence as adults here, I must say that you are going to have to develop it because without it you won’t be able to reject the dumbass ideas that come popping into your head, and you need to be able to do that. So, take some steps to develop confidence.

Now finally, I just want to say that opening up to The Fabric really does assume you are moving from a position of relative emotional and psychological health. Before you attempt a more concrete crown opening, you should be familiar with the Lighting Path core teachings, you should have practiced the Great Invocation and cleared issues, you should developed basic technique, you should have right thinking, and you should be relatively open about things. If not, proceed with caution. Keep a life line handy[7] or give somebody permission to slap you if you start to get carried away. And remember this advice. Although I do provide a lot of cautions when it comes to opening up the crown chakra, it’s really not that hard. In fact, under healthy conditions, it’s the easiest thing ever—virtually automatic in fact. All you really got to accomplish is some basic spiritual training (training that should have been provided to you in high school) and you’ll be fine. So don’t be afraid. Embrace the power and glory that is your full consciousness. When it comes right down to it, expressing the full power of your higher self is the reason you incarnate into a physical unit.

[3] An being myself, at one time, a left brain dominant academic I say this with the utmost love and respect.

[4] As much as I liked Timothy Leary’s early work, by the end of his career he was spouting off some pretty absurd ideas, like the notion that humanity had evolved up out of Africa, and then west across the ocean to finally settle in it’s mostly highly evolved form in the state in California. Of course, it’s not his fault. He was simply responding to the “elite programming” he received in the Harvard boy’s networks which took his revolutionary insights and beat them into just another weapon of mass propaganda. It happens.

[5] And anyway, what’s the heck is that about?

[6] Or, God forbid, you followed it because somebody told you to…

    Michael,

Very interesting and challenging stuff here. I am of course interested in all of it but I have tons and tons of “shit” to unload first. It seems impossible at this time. I hold closely the experience I had of seeming to BE my light body and holding hands with Spirit (was it you?) It is the feelings of joy and bliss that I remember and th vision of all the light. I imagined myself to be a lightworker but maybe my physical unit has been damaged too much. Much love to you and the work you are doing.

    Namaste my friend,

    Marilynn from Tn.

A Conceptual Guide to Spiritual Mastery

Published by ms

I started my career as a spiritual author in 2002 and since then I’ve written many books on spiritual topics. In these books I introduce many novel concepts, or provide revised definitions for existing conceptualizations. Since the number of interrelated concept continues to grow, I think it’s about time to provide a conceptual overview and “guide map” in an effort to start tying it all together. This page you are reading is that map (or at least the start of it). On this page you’ll find a list of key concepts and ideas, and a pointer to the book(s), web page(s), or resources where you will find more information on the topic. I’ll add to this page as we go and hopefully it will eventually provide a decent summary and conceptual overview.

Concepts Index

Activation. Activation is one of my key concepts in more than anything else, sets my teaching apart from others. Rather than arguing that spiritual enlightenment or advancement is a purely intellectual or emotional process, I make some unequivocal statements about the importance of full energetic activation of the body. You can find out what I mean by that by consulting my Dossier of the Ascension. You have to keep an open mind when you read that book though because it introduces you to the notion that this planet is the psychological victim of an ancient race of colonizing Annunaki. I know for some this stretches the boundaries of credulity, but unfortunately you can’t get very far on the path of activation unless you realize some of the reasons why, and how, you have been rendered energetically impotent by The System of psychological colonization imposed on this planet many thousands of years ago.

Akashic Records. Now here’s a concept that is often misunderstood, if ever there was one. See volume two of the Book of Light for a nice, simple, easy to understand, consistent, logical, and satisfactory explanation of this “difficult” spiritual concept.

Archetypes. The concept of archetype is quite important to my work. For me, archetypes (in the Jungian sense) form the foundation upon which reality is manifested. Unlike Jung, I do not believe that archetypes reflect natural phenomena or high level creative truths. Instead I believe archetypes are inserted and modifiable. I talk in great detail about archetypes in my forthcoming The Book of Circles. I will also be adding definitions of archetypes to the SpiritWiki. For a discussion of archetypes in the context of the western Tarot, see http://tarot.michaelsharp.org/

Armageddon. I introduce the concept of Armageddon (or the apocalypse) a little bit in the Book of Life but I’m really concerned with it in all my books. As I explain in the Book of Life, Armageddon is not some final battle between “good” and “evil.” That’s a children’s bed time story designed to scare you and make you easy to control. Armageddon is simply the struggle to bring the “light of consciousness” back into the physical unit. It is the struggle of light (as in spiritual consciousness) over darkness (as in a disconnected and veiled physical unit). This is not a struggle fought with war and bullets but a war waged with archetypes and concepts. It is a struggle with “forces” on this planet who would, out of fear and misunderstanding, keep an old system of disconnection in place rather than allow it to dissolve and pass away as it rightly should at this time. It you believe the prophecy, as I do, this struggle has a predetermined ending which is nicely presaged by the statement, “the meek shall inherit this earth.”

As above in consciousness, so below in matter. I introduced this phrase when I first published the Book of Light Volume One (2005). The phrase is the proper and correct completion of the improperly expressed, and easily misinterpreted and confused, esoteric phrase as above, so below. The phrase is the core tenant of my entire system of spiritual/mystical thought. For clues see The Book of Light (all volumes), and My Mystical Big TOE.

Ascension. A mystical concept of the highest order, ascension is the purpose for manifesting on this earth. If you are familiar with the new age movement, chances are you have some idea of what ascension is though I would bet money that you believe it’s a moral or spiritual process of purification. That’s not my position. I outline my position on ascension clearly in The Book of Life: Ascension and the Divine World Order. It’s well worth checking it out because my view is quite different than the standard view you find in the “old” (i.e., pre WWII) and new, new age movement.

Awakening. I have a pretty standard mystical definition of awakening. Awakening is the process of drawing higher consciousness into your physical unit (i.e., your physical body). You can find the definition, along with a cool “water glass metaphor” to help you properly understand the process, in my book The Great Awakening. I’ve also taken the liberty of breaking out the metaphor and putting it into it’s own SpiritWiki page.

Awaken, Empower, Ascend. I started to use this phrase early 2008 when discussing an appropriate marketing phrase to use on “michaelsharp.org” coffee mugs. We settled on this one because it succinctly captures the psychological, sociological, political, and spiritual goal of my work which is the complete emancipation of the physical unit. Kinda a modern day “let my people go” kinda thing. Ya, I’m ambitious. So what?

Bodily Consciousness. I talk about bodily consciousness in the Book of Consciousness and in the SpiritWiki. In both cases I distinguish bodily consciousness as a neural epiphenomenon arising out of the initiatory/catalytic presence of monadic consciousness. The concept of bodily and monadic consciousness, and the details of their relationships and interactions, are relevant for those seeking a sophisticated foundation upon which to build a spiritually sophisticated psychology and sociology. I’ll be developing this more in my forthcoming psychological treatise, The Book of Consciousness. Stay tuned.

Book (The). I started talking about “The Book” in relation to the Halo/Sharp tarot deck over at http://tarot.michaelsharp.org/. The Book is basically the complete set of planetary archetypes used to manifest the social, political, and economic conditions of this planet. The Book basically contains the Creation Template for this planet. It contains all the archetypes used to manifest the world as we know it (consider my principle “as above in consciousness, so below in matter.”)

Of course, the book doesn’t really exist. The concept is an abstract idea (like a platonic form) which is used as a sort of template which individuals can use to “cut” their own 3D versions. The western tarot, for example, is one such “cut” and as such contains a relatively complete set of planetary archetypes. Of course, the western tarot as it currently exists contains a set of archetypes conducive to global slavery and hierarchy (see my Book of the Triumph of Spirit). However, The Book can be rewritten and I have done just that with the Halo/Sharp tarot deck. If you are interested in diving into the esoteric depths of The Book, and using a new set of archetypes to organize your reality and your creation, I recommend you visit http://tarot.michaelsharp.org (but only after you have completed the Lightning Path Core course of spiritual study).

Book (Old). I first mentioned the “Old Book” over on the tarot site where I identify the old book as the collection of Anu installed archetypes used to manifest The System on this planet. As I indicated, the old style, pre Halo/Sharp, western tarot is one example of how to “cut” or “manifest” Old Book archetypes. See also Creation Templates.

Book (New). The “New Book”, which is technically this planets older, pre Anu book, is a collection of archetypes designed to break this world free of the system. The Halo/Sharp tarot deck is our (i.e., Halo and mine) personal cut.

Breath of Creation. A concept so mind boggling and expansive, your brain will be boggled and expanded just by reading about it. Volume two of The Book of Light.

Channeling. Channeling is what the new agers call what I call “opening to the Fabric of Consciousness.” As explained in the Book of Magic volume one, channeling is a brief and controlled opening to the Fabric of Consciousness. Channeling is a very basic spiritual practice and should not be viewed as a spiritual practice that is advanced or sophisticated. An individual who can “channel” is merely at the beginning of a much greater process of spiritual opening that, if navigated successfully, eventually allows for a full and complete “descent of consciousness” into the physical vehicle.

Creation Templates. The concept of Creation Templates is something that I develop in The Book of Circles. I made my first public statement of them in an interview I gave for Cosmic Light House and will provide a more formal definition in the SpiritWiki when I get the chance. http://www.thespiritwiki.com/index.php/Creation_Template

Crystal and Indigo Children. I only mention crystal and indigo children in The Book of Life: Ascension and the Divine World Order although I have written a book, Vayda Jayne Bean, aimed at helping crystal and indigo’s open to their divine light. I’ll be talking a lot more about crystal and indigo children as I complete the foundations of my psychological theory of consciousness in The Book of Consciousness.

Cauldron of Creation. A concept introduced in Volume Two of The Book of Light. It describes, in metaphoric and mathematical terms, the full nature of creation/the multiverse.

Connecting to Spirit. Connecting to spirit is a physical process that requires full and healthy activation of the physical unit. Because of the pathological way in which physical units are treated on this planet, connecting with spirit often requires remedial spiritual education (see my Lightning Path Core books) and healing (see this page on endopsychoanalysis). As I am fond of saying, under healthy conditions connecting to is the automatic outcome of a healthy socialization process.

Cover Story. [draft note] Introduced in Book of Circles. Elaborate, without nomenclature, Book of Light.

Dimensions of Existence. I talk about dimensions like time and space in volume one of the Book of Light where I point out that all of these dimensions emerge as a result of the way consciousness is oriented to physical creation. That is, the dimensions are a factor of consciousness and not the physical universe. It’s impossible to explain in a single paragraph, but it’s adequately elucidated in the Book of Light.

Egoic Collapse. Egoic collapse is defined in the Book of Magic volume one. It occurs when the personality structures of the physical unit (PU) collapse under the weight of psychological, sociological, or emotional trauma.

Egoic Separation. I first mention this concept in the Book of Light volume two. The concept is a psychological construct that refers to the extent to which an individual monad feels and conceives itself as psychologically separate from the Fabric of Consciousness. I plan on developing this concept in a more formal way in the Book of Consciousness.

Empowerment. Empowerment is the process of taking control and taking responsibility (within limits sets by the collective nature of 3D creation) of your creative spaces. Empowerment often starts with a statement like “I wanna take my power back” and ends with the complete activation of the physical unit. This is a big topic and, since my work is all about the empowerment of humanity, encompasses the breadth and depth of my written work. If you are a psychologist or counselor interested in a therapeutic approach to spiritual empowerment, please see my New World Psychology blog.

Fabric of Consciousness. The concept of the Fabric of Consciousness is a wholly novel concept I first introduced in The Book of Light: The Nature of God, the Structure of Consciousness, and the Universe Within You. I use the concept a lot in all levels of my writing (i.e., popular, esoteric, and academic). It is a linchpin concept that you must understand if you are to be able to process and integrate my more advanced writings. It forms a center around which I talk about the nature of God, the nature of creation, “channeling,” and even psychological statements I will make about the structures of consciousness in The Book of Consciousness. Understanding the Fabric of Consciousness and what I mean by that will also help you take a more critical and discerning approach to what others have to say about spiritual truths.

Fundamental Factors of Creation. Really there is only one fundamental factor of creation and that is consciousness. But if we want to understand how the universe works, it’s best to talk about two fundamental factors of creation. See volume two of The Book of Light.

Form.

Gender Duality. Gender duality is the belief that creation is organized along gender lines (e.g., god the “father,” earth the “mother,” etc.) Gender duality occurs when we erroneously extrapolate human experience onto cosmological and theological principles. As explained in my Black Book, heightening gender duality is a useful tactic when the goal is to weaken, separate, and control.

Great Awakening.

God with a big “G.” I develop the concept of God with a big “G” in The Book of Light Volume One. This conceptualization of God, and the distinction with god with a little “g” is, I believe, wholly novel and unique and not to be found in any current or previous theological discourse. Once you understand it, the conceptualization helps clarify centuries of spiritual and esoteric doctrine.

God with a little “g.” A wholly novel presentation of the cosmological truth of consciousness. Developed in The Book of Light Volume One.

Guides. These days everybody and their dog knows what a spiritual guide is. A spiritual guide is some wise and superior spiritual entity tasked with telling you what to do, and showing you the way to go, so that you can adequately learn your “life lessons,” thereby graduating onto the “next level” of whatever. Right?

Wrong. All a spiritual guide is someone who has agreed to hold your hand until you’ve decided it’s time to open your eyes and turn on the light. When utilized correctly, guides can help you avoid bumping into wall, and help you find the light switch. It is however critical that you do not hand your power over to them. Once you got your eyes open, and once the lights are on, you need to sit in the drivers seat of your physical unit since of it’s you, and not your guides, that is existing in body, in the 3D universe. Bottom line, once you got your eyes open, and the lights on, you always know better than they do. You can ask them for advice, but don’t expect them to tell you what to do with your life. That’s up to you.

Guide Network. Because of the cussed difficulty of supporting a blind human walking around in a veil of darkness, blind and veiled humans generally have between four and six guides there to help them by providing energetic support. These days, guide networks are not fixed. Guides come and go as you progress through the stages of your awakening and as your energetic needs change.

“I”. “I” (an I with the quotes) refers to god with a little “g,” also known as the original monadic spark. I use this construct extensively in volumes of the Book of Light.

Horseshoe Curve. The horseshoe curve is a theoretical construct I introduced in the Book of Light volume two to describe an ideal representation of how reborn egos react to the availability and provision of guidance.

Identity Bleed. I first talk about identity bleed in the Book of Magic volume one where I discuss it in relation to a pathological crown chakra opening. In this case, and usually as the result of a poor or damaged self esteem, the egoic consciousness abandons the identity it was born with in favor of identification with, for example, “famous dead prophets.” Identity bleed can be considered a red flag is often a precursor of full blown spiritual psychosis.

Intensification of Consciousness. WN. http://www.thespiritwiki.com/index.php/Intensification_of_Consciousness

Memory Banks of God. Also known as the Akashic record. See volume two of The Book of Light.

Monadic Consciousness (a.k.a. Monadic Spark, Spark of the one, and me, myself, and “I”). This is something I define in the Book of Consciousness and in the SpiritWiki. Monadic consciousness is basically the indivisible unit of self-awareness. It emerges as an “intensification” in The Fabric of Consciousness. God with a little “g” was the original monadic consciousness but nowadays we have many gazillions of monads zipping around eternity and manifesting physical creation in multiple universes each with their own self contained set of physical rules and constants. No parallel universes here. Just many unique and fascinating creative experiments all driven by the monadic sparks of The Fabric developing and manifesting in situations of broad consensus.

Multiverse. The definition of multiverse is first introduced in the Book of Light Volume Two. our universe, i.e., the universe that we “see” when we look out into space with our telescopes, is but one of many “parallel universes” each with their own individualized and protected states. For a definition see http://www.thespiritwiki.com/index.php/Multiverse or the Book of Light.

New World Spirituality (NWS). New World Spirituality is the term I use to describe the sum totality of what I am doing, which is providing a new system of spirituality and spirituality knowledge that is fruitful, responsible, epistemologically sophisticated, grounded, and inclusive. See my definition at http://www.thespiritwiki.com/index.php/New_World_Spirituality.

Normal Consciousness.

Reflection, The. This is another one of those supercalifagilistic mind expanding concepts. Although it’s an exceedingly simple concept to understand, you really need to clear out the conceptual and spiritual cobwebs before you can understand it properly. Therefore, I won’t even attempt to explain this concept in less than one hundred and sixty manuscript pages. Read the Book of Light for those manuscript pages.

Right thinking. Right thinking is the key to spiritual maturation. How so? Well, I have this little saying, “as above in consciousness, so below in matter.” It basically means that everything that has to do with the physical world around you starts in consciousness. It’s not necessarily your consciousness, but it all does start in consciousness. Because of this, because I believe that consciousness is “ontologically superior” to the material world (i.e., it is ontologically primary), I place great emphasis on thinking properly about yourself, about God, about Spirit, about physical creation, etc. In fact, at one level or another, all my books and writings are designed to help you “think properly” and develop a state of “right thinking.” Right thinking is an essential prerequisite for awakening, empowerment and ascension. If you want emancipation then, as above in consciousness, so below in matter, learn to think right. I can help with that.

Physical Unit. In my book The Great Awakening, in my DVD of the same name, and in the Spirit Wiki, I spend a lot of time developing the concept of the Physical Unit. The physical unit is basically your physical body. I don’t use the terms physical body, however, because usually when we say “physical body” we don’t include the “physical mind” along with that. Ever the good western materialists, we make a distinction between the body and the thoughts which seem to emerge out of the body in some mysterious fashion. For me this is unacceptable. In order to properly understand the physical unit, we have to include within our conceptual rubric the physical body AND bodily mind as it emerges out of the quantum operations of the central nervous system as they are themselves embraced by spirit. It’s a little complicated to explain within a short space such as this one so if you want to know more, you’ll find it explained in my forthcoming The Book of Consciousness. See my definition at http://www.thespiritwiki.com/index.php/Physical_Unit.

Space Time Tube. The space time tube is a concept that I introduce in The Book of Life: Ascension and the Divine World Order. It is a sophisticated concept that helps you see the relationship between God/Spirit/Consciousness and the material world. It also helps put into proper context the notion of “being in the moment.” This is an essential concept that supports the development of right spiritual thinking.

Shiney Ones (The). I describe the “shiney ones,” also known as the “shiney new ones” in volume two of the Book of Light. Not

State of Creation. Heavy duty cosmology and theology from the Book of Light Volume Two. For a brief definition see http://www.thespiritwiki.com/index.php/State_of_Creation.

Spiritual Individualism. A concept coined 2008/06/30 to describe a common spiritual perspective arising out of a misunderstanding of the nature of The Fabric and the way creation operates in a “multi-monadic” environment, or as a result of intentional attempts to erase from view the importance of environment and collective responsibility for global change. Spiritual individualism is popular amongst those with wealth and power because it clears them of responsibility and justifies their privileged social positions even in the face of horrible global poverty. For a formal definition see the SpiritWiki definition of spiritual individualism.

Spiritual Maturity. Although I haven’t formally defined spiritual maturity anywhere but here, what I think about spiritual maturity is strongly implied in the content and structure of my work. To be spiritually mature one must be fully awakened and empowered. For example, one must have a healthy and fully functioning chakra system (because the chakra energies support proper maturation of the physical unit), and have developed a mature understanding of spiritual concepts and ideas. It should be noted that the concept of spiritual maturity here refers to the physical unit only. A spiritually mature individual is an individual with a fully functioning physical unit capable of holding a large measure of higher spiritual consciousness.

Spiritual Psychopathology. http://www.thespiritwiki.com/index.php/Spiritual_Psychopathology

Spiritual Psychosis. I started talking thinking about spiritual psychosis when I was writing the SpiritWiki article on entheogens and then developed the idea more fully in volume one of the Book of Magic where I talk about spiritual psychosis in relation to crown chakra activation and the emergence of “identity issues” (i.e., believing you are Jesus, or Christ, or Maitraya, or whomever) or total egoic collapse. As outlined in the Book of Magic, spiritual psychosis emerges when an individual physical unit attempts to open the crown chakra to full spiritual communication when the unit is filled with fear, has unhealthy and/or weak personality structures (as a result of failed socialization and/or prolonged abuse), is suffering from imbalanced development of the brain, fails to set boundaries, and so on. In this case, the weakened or damaged physical unit is overwhelmed by the Fabric of Consciousness to the point where thinking becomes a blend of high level spiritual truths tainted with dogmatic and/or fear based impositions. Current psychiatric practice, based as it is on a relatively barren understanding of spiritually induced psychosis, too often involves clubbing an individual with anti-psychotic drugs in an attempt to permanently shut down the open crown chakra.

Spiritual Signature. I introduce the concept of “spiritual signature” in The Book of Magic Volume One. Spiritual signature is wholly novel concept that points to the “vibrational impact” of consciousness on the physical world. It is an important spiritual concept and one that I will address in more detail in subsequent Lightning Path works.

Structures of Consciousness (book of light, book of consciousness)

Struggle (The). I first mentioned “the struggle” in the Chariot card over at http://tarot.michaelsharp.org. The concept basically refers to our individual and collective efforts to repair, awaken, and activate the physical body (ours first, and others later). As I note in the Chariot card, and in the Book of Consciousness.

It is important to understand that The Struggle to activate and awaken the physical unit is not a necessary feature of incarnation and only occurs because the toxic conditions on this planet damage us as children. This damage we experience necessitates, if we happen to wake up and realize the need, willful repair as adults. Therefore, we struggle to awaken and empower. It is also an annoying feature of current conditions that so many seek to undermine the struggle and keep us in damaged disrepair. That will change though.

Creating proper conditions for full activation, awakening, and empowerment of the physical unit is the subject of development psychology.

Symbolic Overload First mentioned at http://tarot.michaelsharp.org/?page_id=136. The concept refers to the presence (in a picture) of too many symbols, to the point where (like a badly composed photograph) there is no meaningful focus. The presence of symbolic overload can usually be read as an attempt to obscure. Either the author is trying to obscure their own ignorance with the pictorial equivalent of bafflegab, or they are trying to hide and obscure the truth about something by attempting to dazzle and blind. Either way, it’s worthwhile developing your ability to recognize symbolically over loaded sources. See also see EPMO.

Synchronicity. As originally defined by C.G. young in his characteristically quaint, but obtuse way, synchronicity is the simultaneous occurrence of two causally independent, statistically improbable, but meaningfully related events. More accurately, a synchronicity is a crude attempt of your guide network to communicate with you by organizing a personally meaningful manifestation for you. Other than as an initial “proof of concept” (i.e., there’s more to reality than meets the eye Jim Bob), you should not rely on synchronous events to propel your spiritual awakening process. If you don’t give into the statistical improbability of the synchronicities and realize that narrow materialist versions of reality just can’t cut it, your guide network will give up and stop trying. Ironically, this will confirm your skepticism and disbelief, but what can you do? Why waste time and energy trying to convince someone of something they simply refuse to consider. I talk a lot about synchronicity in my book The Great Awakening.

Tabula Rasa Lie. Introduced in the Book of Light volume two, this is the lie told by Church and Science that tells us this is the first life we’ve lived and therefore all experience or knowledge comes from this life. It’s a pernicious lie, one that undermines our ability to awaken, remember, and draw on the strength, expertise, and wisdom gained from countless previous lifetimes on this world and others.

Tarot. I was once invited to speak to the University of Cape town to discuss my thoughts on how we might encourage a rapid and significant epistemological and ontological shift in science. Unfortunately, one of my co-speakers had a look at my website, saw the word Tarot, and refused to speak on the same podium. So much for open inquiry in the halls of academia eh. If I had been surprised, I might have been disappointed. Anyway, my official view on the western tarot system is that it is not a “divination” system so much as an archetypal system, archetypal library, or “book of keys,” that presents common planetary archetypes in “western” form. For more information on the western tarot and what I’m doing with it, visit http://tarot.michaelsharp.org/

The Throne. http://www.thespiritwiki.com/index.php/The_Throne

Unfolding of Consciousness/Unfolding of Creation.

Nature of God. I talk about the nature of God (and god) in the Book of Light: Ascension and the Divine World Order and there’s almost no point in my trying to explain it here, not because it’s difficult, but because compared to what you might have been taught the disjuncture is conceptualizations is too vast to deal with in a paragraph or two. If you haven’t read the Book of Light, go read it and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

The Divine Plan. I talk about the divine plan (which is really just the purpose of creation), in The Book of Life, The Book of Light (all volumes), and the Song of Creation. In summary, the purpose of creation of is to have fun and avoid boredom (Book of Light). The purpose of this earth however is special. The purpose of this earth is to solve a creative conundrum (Book of Life, Song of Creation, Volume II of the Book of Light). Your purpose for incarnating on this earth is to help with ascension which is the solution to the creative conundrum identified in The Book of Life and Song of Creation.

Technique Index

Breathing. Proper breathing technique (simply deep breathing) is an essential prerequisite for spiritual practice. You can find information on breathing in my book The Great Awakening and in my DVD of the same name. Check ‘em out, learn, and practice.

Chakra Clearing.

The Great Invocation. http://www.michaelsharp.org/meditations/the-great-invocation/

Mental Control. Mental control, or rather control of the mental process of the physical unit, is a must have skill. You cannot achieve more than a basic level of spiritual attainment if you do not practice mental control. And by mental control I don’t mean the transcendent “still your thoughts” an become empty in the moment sort of mental control, I mean control of how you think and what thoughts you allow into consciousness. You can find guidance on mental control in my Book of Magic Volume One.

Visualization. The ability to visualize (a.k.a imagination), is important. Visualization is like the “steering wheel” of your physical unit. You can find more information on the importance of visualization my books The Great Awakening, The Dossier of the Ascension, The Book of Magic, and the Book of Circles.

Chakra Activation. I explain how to activate your chakras in The Dossier of the Ascension. It’s easy to do, but the consequences of activation are not straightforward. As I explain in the Dossier (and elsewhere), your body (your physical unit) is like a power tool of creation. It’s like a chain saw only it’s turned off by the oppressive impositions of this slave world that we live in. When it’s turned off, it’s not very powerful. Like a dead chain saw, you could cut through a tree, but it would take you a long time. However, when it’s turned on, then you can cut through creation like a powered up chain saw cutting down a tree. That’s what happens when you fire up your chakras. All of a sudden you begin manifesting at full power (or at least with more power than previously). Unfortunately, this does not lead to the magic sprinkling of the “gold fairy dust of prosperity” but to difficult psychological and spiritual processes of clearing.
