Protected: The Cosmic Egg
Now, at this point in our discussion you might feel a little tinge of fear. If so, that’s to be expected. After all, I am talking about taking the multi-monadic Fabric of Consciousness and reducing it back to the original state. The implications of that shift should be obvious. It means, basically, that all independently existing egos get “erased.” All remnants of memory, experience, preferences, likes, and dislikes would be gone. In other words, I’m talking about the total loss of ego and identity. Let’s be honest with ourselves, it’s a scary thought especially if you have no connection to god and live in the barren illusion of independence and egoic separation. In condition where you have no connection to anything else in the universe, even the thought of it can be so frightening that we go through all sorts of intellectual and emotional contortions to avoid considering the possibility. However back then, it wasn’t so much of a problem. Back then, the idea of collapsing ourselves back into one and erasing the multi-monadic consciousness of The Fabric didn’t bother us as much as it might in the right here and now. Of course, this was not because we liked the idea of total egoic annihilation. Not at all! No sentient, self-aware identity likes to contemplate being snuffed out like an irrelevant little candle flame. That would be perverse. It was just, back then we weren’t so disconnected and disempowered as we are today, and that made a difference for two reasons.
On the one hand, we weren’t too concerned about a collapse of monadic consciousness because even though back then we could talk about egoic separation from The Fabric, even though there was a definite sense of I independent from “I,” nevertheless we retained a strong connection to The Fabric.[1] Yes, we were separate and yes we could talk about I and self, but we were still “I” as well and we knew that with the absolute certainty that comes from felt experience.[2] And besides, retaining such a close connection to The Fabric, we could take both perspectives (e.g., I and “I”) with equal facility and this meant we were buffered against the idea of total annihilation. Even under the worst of circumstances, we’d just merge back into a single “I” to start all over again. We’d lose a little bit, but unlike what a completely separated and individuated, and embodied I might feel, it would be more like losing an eye than losing your entire identity. Therefore, it just didn’t raise the survival alarms as it does for us now.
Still we had to admit, it wasn’t ideal. Something was being lost and that was sad. All that experience, all that knowledge, all that wisdom that we had collected would all be gone. No matter how strong our identification with “I,” nobody wanted to just be “gone” forever. It was a problem for sure, but thankfully we’d no doubt be able to come up with a solution. Like I said in volume one of this book, the only limitation that that Immortal Spirit experiences is a limit of imagination. Therefore, all we had to do was imagine a solution. So, that’s what we did. We started to think of a solution. And, it didn’t take long before we came up with something simple, elegant, and très cool. In essence, we imagined a solution that would allow us to zero out our identity, but retain it at the same time.
We’d have our cake and eat it as well, so to speak.
And how would we do that?
Well, in order to accomplish that we imagined that two things would be required. On the one hand we imagined that when we went back to zero, one single monadic consciousness would “remain behind.” That is, one monad would not erase and would retain the memory of all that had gone before. Like a vast computer hard drive in the sky, or some big “hall of records,” all the perspective and all the experiences of creation from before would be preserved with the single solitary monad that stayed behind.
Very cool.
Of course, just storing everything on some cosmic level hard drive wasn’t enough to solve our little problem of identity. Even though all experience would remain within a single, omniscient source (i.e., the one that remained behind), everybody else would still be gone and that was not so cool. So, in addition to imagining that one of us would stay behind, we also imagined that when we “zeroed out” in order to start fresh, we wouldn’t give up everything. Rather than returning to a completely blank state, we’d keep one little piece of information inside us. And just what was the little piece of information?
Well, if you are a computer geek you can think of it like a file pointer pointing to the disk address of your own personal “akashic storage file.” [3] If you’re not familiar enough with computer to know what a file pointer is, the common “egg” [4] is a perfect metaphor. In this conceptualization, the egg represents the memory of you specifically and the universe in general. In order to begin the cosmic process of remembering, all the egg needs is little tap on the shoulder to get the process started, an appropriate and nurturing environment, and you are “born again” as they say. [5]
Now how cool is that?
We would forget everything and be reborn in spiritual innocence, but we’d also be able to tap into our original identities and draw those forward from the “memory banks of god” (a.k.a. the Akashic records). It seemed like an ideal solution, and in a way it was. We were still disappointed that we hadn’t made it through Daath this first time around, but this pretty much solved the problem of ennui forever. Even if we never made it through Daath, we now had a renewal option that we could exercise at any time. Of course, we were certain it wouldn’t come to that. Spirit is not lacking in imagination so there was no doubt we’d make it through Daath the second next time around. Nevertheless, we were all relieved to see total egoic annihilation come of the chalkboard as an option forever.
So where did that leave us?
Well in pretty good shape actually. After coming up against the brick wall of Daath, and after a brief conversation about the possibility and desirability of total annihilation, we now had a way forward that was perfectly acceptable to every single monad in the universe, except for one. The problem now was, nobody wanted to stay behind least of all the original “I” who had “been there and done that” more times than any other monad in cretion.
Think about it for a moment.
You may think omniscience is all cool and wow and powerful and desirable, but it’s not. The one who stayed behind would be making a huge sacrifice. The one who stayed behind would be condemned to a veritable eternity of excruciating boredom. While everybody else was having fun rediscovering their identity, some poor sod would be stuck with their cosmic thumb stuck in a plumb, forced into an eternity of hellish and uninvolved isolation. And while there might be some pleasure to be found in voyeurism, while it might be fun watching all the “shiny ones” (i.e., the new ones) start off all cute and cuddly and gurgles and innocence, no doubt the novelty would wear off fast and existence would become the worst nightmare of an immortal soul which is to say b.o.r.i.n.g, unpleasant, tedious, and annoying. And, even though there was a volunteer or two willing to make this ultimate sacrifice so that everyone else could have fun, nevertheless we (and by “we” I mean everyone else) could not countenance it. The sacrifice and the dangers were too great and therefore we could not proceed until an appropriate solution was found that would provide the one who stayed behind an acceptable and joyful experience.
So we thought…
And we thought…
And we thought…
And we eventually came up with a solution.
And, the solution was simple.
In order to ensure an interesting experience for the one who stayed behind, we all agreed that we would let the volunteer who stayed behind play a role in “directing” the process. Of course, this monad would not be “in control” in the sense that some people like to have control on this earth,[6] but it would provide gentle guidance, suggestions, periodical taps on the shoulder, information, or whatever was needed to make things interesting and to ensure a trajectory towards awakening. It would be up to the monad that stayed behind to decide how much direction and guidance to give, under what circumstances, and so on.[7] The only real stipulation, besides the obvious one to have fun, was that the monad that stayed behind should keep “eyes open” for a solution to the problem of Daath.
Pretty cool huh?
And challenging.
And exciting!
In fact, when you thought about it, “parenting”[8] the unfolding trillions in a glorious unfolding Fabric of Consciousness would be exciting.[9] However, just to be clear, it would not be like the parenting as practiced on this earth (or as suggested in Church dogma). On this earth, parenting practices have been twisted and distorted to the point of gross caricature. On this earth, we (and by “we” I mean our parents, us, the school system, the media, our scientific institutions, etc.) go out of our way to delude ourselves about our true identity and prevent ourselves from awakening and remembering. We teach ourselves the tabula rasa lie (a.k.a. the “lie of the blank slate”), talk some trash about karma and reincarnation, and feed ourselves a steady diet of self esteem crushing tests and evaluations until not only are we spun totally around in relation to who we truly are, but the only way we can feel good about ourselves is to gather our self esteem and identity from the external props (i.e., power, authority, prestige, bling, fashion, etc.) placed before us. That’s perverse and when you think about it, that’s the truth turned on its head. Its exactly the opposite of what we should be doing, i.e., teaching people to look within and remember.[10] I don’t know what you want to call what we do to ourselves and our children on this earth, but it’s not healthy. Back then, the basic goal of the “parental unit(s)” (i.e. the monad that stayed behind) would be to gently guide all the “little children” of the universe back to realization and remembrance of their true divinity.
And that was exciting to think about.
How cool would it be to watch and help all the little golden children of The Fabric blossom into the divine creatures of light, love, and power that they really were? Well I’ll tell you, it would be very cool in a kind of poke you in your ribs, smile a Cheshire smile and say, “hey I’m here to help and I got some information for you if you want it,” sort of way. In fact, it went way beyond cool and became potentially the most interesting role of all not only because you got to play with others from a totally new perspective never before experienced (i.e., the perspective of mentor), but also because the incredible responsibility of it elevated the whole thing to the level of sacred trust. And even though back then there was no possibility of funny games, [11] and so the idea of a “sacred trust” to guide and awakening wasn’t salient, nevertheless it was still taken seriously. It was a sacred trust, but an exciting one that we that we all hoped would not only provide new play conditions (kinda like interacting with children of various ages), but ultimately a solution to the problem of Daath.
And so, there you were. We had come up with the idea to collapse, we had identified possible downsides (i.e., monadic annihilation and the problems associated with staying behind) and overcome those, and so now there was no longer any need to worry about anything. It was all sorted, which of meant that we no longer had any obstacles before us,[12] which of course meant that there was nothing left to stop us…
And so we all took one last deep cosmic breath and…
* ping *
[1] For the left-brain dominants out there, you can operationalize this separation. If you think of a scale between zero and ten where zero equals total identification with god (I as “I”), and ten equals total egoic independence (I as totally separated and disconnected from The Fabric), then have a construct that, if we can operationalize with a short inventory, provides a way to measure what amounts to a incredibly important psychological variable (i.e., egoic independence). In the psychological perspective that I am developing, egoic separation becomes an important variable for psychological assessment. Determining a clients level of egoic separation can give us a rough indication of therapeutic approach.
If you are interested, at the point in our story where we made the decision to collapse The Fabric, I would scale monads at about a two or three. There was some egoic identification (i.e., some sense of I), but the primary experience would have been one of immersion in The Fabric. By contrast, I would scale ninety nine percent of the people on this planet as a full nine or ten on this scale. I would also include as tens those who have a mere intellectual understanding of the concept, since a valid lower score only becomes possible when we enter a state of conscious were we directly experience identification with The Fabric. It is important to note that experiencing such a connection is precluded by imbalanced development of the crown chakra (i.e., physical brain).
While I would not consider a score of zero to be pathological in any sense (except for the fact that people experiencing full identification with divinity would not be able to function in this world as it currently exists), I do consider anything above a six to be unnecessary except under special creative circumstances. Anything over an eight I would consider unhealthy and potentially pathological. As for those walking around at ten, they are potentially dangerous since their total lack of connection to The Fabric leaves disconnected and with little compassion or empathy for others. That level of disconnection also provides them the conceptual and emotional leeway to engage in selfish, callous, and insensitive acts towards other incarnated monads.
As a side note, I would be interested operationalizing and developing a psychological scale that would measure egoic separation. Such a scale would be useful for spiritually sophisticated psychologists and psychiatrists interesting in assessing this dimension of personality. If you have psychometric and statistical expertise and are interested in helping to develop such a scale, please contact me.
[2] It’s hard to deny felt experience. If I walked over to you, pressed my hands on your crown chakra and chanted “abracadabra, sis boom ba, see the Truth now, ra ra ra,” you would know something happened (though you might not understand what) and nobody could tell you differently. You would know with a certainty that comes only from “lived experience” of something. It was like that back then (and will be like that again in the future). If you haven’t already, you certainly will in the near future experience, with absolute certainty, the reality that you are more than the limited, boxed in ego of your physical body
[3] As you can see, the Akashic records do exist and they are a kind of storage system, but it’s a very personal storage system dependent on the existence of the consciousness of “I” that stays behind. A common philosophical mistake that we (and by “we” I primarily mean philosophers and scientists) make is to depersonalize creation. We do it because we’ve been told that it’s a more objective, rigorous, accurate, and acceptable way of talking about creation. It’s part of the ontological fabric of old world science I suppose you could say. If that’s you, you have to stop doing that. Creation and consciousness is the epitome of personalization, perspective, and ego. Like it or not, if you want to break out of the shackles of old world scientific thought, you need to get over the need to depersonalize and objectify creation so prevalent among scientific thinkers (see for example Laszlo’s Science and the Reenchantment of the Cosmos for a rather spectacular example of the erroneous depersonalization of a sacred spiritual truth, and a rather dramatic misrepresentation of the underlying truth of the “Akashic” records).
[4] If you want to add the EPMO pretensions of alchemy, you can call it the “cosmic egg.” I would not advise that though. The power of the egg metaphor lies in the fact that it is a direct reflection of the deep truth of Spirit and creation that we are talking about here. This Truth is intentionally reflected in the mundane and banal reproductive truth of the egg which is simply that it contains the memory of what has gone before, in embryo form, waiting for a “tap on the shoulder” in order to begin remembering. It’s a brilliant reflection in 3D of a basic truth of spirit. If you start adding all the EPMO pretensions of alchemy, you’ll lose the basic truth and be in danger of “missing the boat,” if you know what I mean.
[5] There’s a lot more I could say about this whole cosmic egg thing, but I’ll save a more detailed and technical explication for later. For now I recommend those wishing to “jump ahead” go take a gander at the Initiation card from my Halo/Sharp tarot deck.
[6] The hierarchies and control systems of this planet are, in the eyes of an awakened physical unit, a perverse and perverted mis-reflection and and misrepresentation of high level spiritual truths.
[7] How much guidance a shiny one would take would depend. It would vary of course but presumably the “guidance curve” would look like a horseshoe. [graphic]. The shiny ones would accept less direction when they started out (i.e., when they were “children” and didn’t realize just how big the universe really was, and just how much of themselves they had given up), more as they grew in knowledge and remembrance of I (and started to realize just how much they didn’t remember), until they finally returned to a place of full awareness of their glorious identity as God and, at that point, require no more guidance. Call this the “horseshoe curve” of awakening or rebirth if you like.
[8] In an ideal intellectual situation, I would rather not associate the idea that I’m developing here with the idea of parenting. It wasn’t really a parenting relationship. As I say in the main text, it was more of a mentoring relationship and I’d rather use that word. However, because of the way toxic parenting practices (i.e., God the psycho authoritarian father who punishes and abuses) have become associated with the idea that I’m developing here, I want to make the association simply for the opportunity it provides to break, once and for all I hope, the dogmatic back of the Christian church.
[9] I would like to point out that the fact that it was exciting to think about made everybody feel a whole lot better. Like I said earlier we (and by “we” I mean Immortal Spirit) could not countenance the thought of causing suffering to even one monad so when we found a solution that encompassed everyone, we all breathed a happy sigh of relief.
[10] If you want to look for the identity and location of Lucifer, I suppose this would be as good a place as any. The creation of a “system” that turns belittles you and turns you away from God is about as “Luciferean” as you can get.
[11] Let’s be honest, the whole idea of collapsing the fabric and leaving one behind was giving one monad an incredibly cool experience, but also an incredibly potent potential for abuse. Of course, it wasn’t really a factor back then. Nobody back then had any worries that some lunatic monad would suddenly “break away” from The Fabric and start using their privileged knowledge to control, mislead, or whatever. However it did happen, sorta. Not in the exactly the way the bible says, of course, but close enough so we can see the parallels. Anyway, the truth is related to ascension and the need to “veil” us (i.e., keep us away from our divinity) so that we can play in the absurdity of duality. In this case, we all agreed to be misled so that we could be kept away from the knowledge and power of our true divinity. But like I said in the Book of Life, our earth represents a special case. The sort of Luciferean misdirection that occurred on this earth since the time of the Annunaki is not representative of psychological, social, political, or spiritual systems anywhere else in creation.
Who to choose?
Well, after some thought, everyone agreed that only those who had been willing to volunteer the first time should be allowed to keep their hands up. That reduced the pool of volunteers to only a handful at which point it was decided that the original volunteers could choose amongst themselves who (and how many) would stay behind. As soon as that was sorted out .
